Award Given to City of Petoskey for the Bear River Valley Recreation Area
Congratulations to the City of Petoskey for receiving the Implementation award for the Bear River Valley Recreation Area! City of Jackson receives award for Jackson: Next Master Plan
We are really excited to learn that the The City of Jackson, Michigan has received the Daniel Burnham Award for a Comprehensive Plan from the Michigan Association of Planning for their work on the Jackson: Next Master Plan! Judges noted that the Jackson: Next plan did an "exceptional job of tying in the history of the community as a relevant and important part of building future success" and that the plan "digs deeper into tying placemaking to the economic health of the area.
