Beckett & Raeder, Inc. provided design, engineering documents, and construction administrative services for the completion of the new synthetic turf multipurpose varsity fields at both Pioneer High School and Huron High School. Both fields were installed during the summer of 2004.

Pioneer High School field does not have an adjacent track thus allowing the design to include a wider field for maximum soccer play. Both fields are utilized for football, soccer, field hockey, lacrosse, marching band, and physical education classes.

Additional improvements to the stadiums included bleachers, fencing, scoreboards, new walkways, and new field event areas.
