State of Michigan

Over the past thirty years, Beckett & Raeder, Inc. has provided a wide variety of professional services to numerous departments and agencies of Michigan State Government. These have included the Department of Management and Budget, Department of Corrections, Department of Community Health, Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, Department of Natural Resources, Department of Transportation, the Michigan State Housing Development Corporation, and the Michigan State Police.

Our working relationship with the State of Michigan began with an assignment to prepare a master development plan for the State Secondary Governmental Complex in the suburban Lansing area. The 750 acre site has subsequently been developed to accommodate many of the research, service and warehousing functions of state government. In the ensuing years, our experience with state departments and agencies has included more than one hundred projects ranging from site selection and evaluation studies to demolition engineering to design and engineering for complete correctional facility campuses with site development budgets in excess of ten million dollars.
